Immigrants’ Rights March and Rally on March 15, 2025.
The United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA) and Local 99 organized the march to express their concerns about the Trump policies affecting the brown and Latino communities in Downtown Los Angeles.
Teachers, staff, and parents gathered on the steps of City Hall, demonstrating with their handmade signs and preparing to march. Cecily Myart-Cruz, president of UTLA, and Hugo Soto-Martinez, a Council member of the City of Los Angeles, were among the day's keynote speakers.
